Happy Khali Day!

Do you have a pet? Do you celebrate your pet’s birthday? I asked my students these questions, and their answers were so interesting!

In the Philippines, dogs are the most common pets. While I don’t have a dog, my friend has the cutest French bulldog named Khali.

Today, we celebrated her 5th birthday! Khali is sweet, adorable, and super playful. Since I often dog-sit her, she’s very comfortable with me. Instead of chocolate cake, which isn’t safe for dogs, we cooked her favorite meal–chicken liver and gizzard mixed with dogfood and made sure she felt special. I played with her, and I could tell she was the happiest pup today!
