How Do I Spend My Weekend?
Church + Date + Hangout with Family and Friends = My Perfect Weekend!
That’s my formula for the perfect weekend, and I’d love to share mine with you!
First stop, church! As most Filipinos are Christians, weekends often start with worship. For me, it’s the time to participate in activities and workshops, attend classes, and worship to strengthen my faith and relationship with God.
Next up, dating! My girlfriend and I always spend quality time together on weekends. Whether it’s trying a new restaurant or taking a peaceful walk in the park, it’s our way of cherishing each other’s company.
Finally, hanging out with family and friends. Filipinos are naturally friendly and family-oriented, and weekends are the perfect time to bond. My family and I often watch TV dramas (especially Western, like “House of Dragons”) together in the evenings. I also like to help out with household chores as a way of showing support. With friends, I enjoy karaoke nights, visiting night markets, or simply having great conversations.
